In Payette, care of trees in the public right-of-way is the responsibility of the adjacent property owner. Permits are required to plant or remove​ trees in the public right-of-way. Permits are free, but may require approval from the Community Forestry Commission.

 

The City of Payette has been a member of Tree City USA since 2001.
