Finance Department

The Finance Department administers all financial operations of the City. Employees of this department oversee the City’s financial obligations such as maintaining the general ledger, accounts payable, purchasing, utility billing, collections, accounts receivable, special assessments and all general receipts.

Facilitate annual external audit processes performed by an independent auditor. Provide internal audit and review services to all City departments.

Treasury Services

Invest City funds; provide debt management oversight; coordinate City banks and collection efforts.

City Budget

The Budget is one of the City's most important policy documents. It specifies how City resources will be allocated to achieve the City Council's established goals and provide a broad array of city programs and services. Each fiscal year, the City of Payette's operations and expenses are planned for in the City Budget. The fiscal year runs from October 1 through September 30.
