Payette Pool
The City of Payette boasts several beautiful parks as well as a state of the art swimming facility. Many of our parks offer colorful and fun playground equipment as well as two which offer full size soccer fields. Please use these facilities in a safe and conscientious manner.
Kiwanis Park, located at 6th Avenue South and Hwy 95, is our most popular park. It is home to our bandshell which hosts several fun and exciting events throughout the year and our beautiful swimming pool.We are also fortunate to have a skate park at this location that was built through the efforts of our youth and many donated hours and materials from our community.
Centennial Park is located at the end of North 6th Street just before you cross over into Oregon. This park is a joint effort with the City and County of Payette and was built during the City’s Centennial celebration in 1991. You can load your water recreational vehicles into Snake River from the docks located on the West end of this park or make use of the soccer fields which are also located here.
Central Park is located across from the Post Office on Center Avenue and South 9th Street. It offers a small basketball court and playground equipment as well as a beautiful setting for our Public Library.
Bancroft Park is located downtown at the corner of Main Street & Center Avenue. It offers a perfect spot to have a picnic. It also is the gathering place during cruise night in September.
Gateway Park, located on Hwy 95 and 7th Avenue North, offers two full-size soccer fields as well as our Fire Station located to the North of this park.
The Payette Municipal Swimming Pool is located on the West side of Kiwanis Park. We have two full size pools, one indoor and one outdoor, as well as a wading pool for our younger swimmers. Swim lessons, exercise classes and rentals are just a few of the additional activities offered at the pool.
